Autumns light ***** On hold for Mike*****

Original painting commission done in oil and cold wax medium.

This piece measures 40 x 50 cm.

This artwork was such a joy to create. It was a slow process but extremely rewarding as each new layer gave way to new surprises and depth.

I gave it this title as this piece was for me like walking through a wood on a cool autumn day observing the changes in the colours of the season and the special light that can only be found at this time of year.

This free flow abstract painting has brought me back to some of my work from several years ago and to using oil which I have greatly missed. It represents a coming together of people, friends, ideas and new beginnings.
